Enjoy nature best gift to us - Pomegranate

I always remember my Grandmother ’s pomegranate tree in her backyard. Although the Parkistani and Indian pomegranates are much bigger that the one found in my granny’s backyard. She never think any less of her skinny tree. She took such care of it as if it’s growth is directly connected to her luck & prosperity!

Well, that’s my childhood memories of Pomegranate!

Not until I saw how red and juicy and Exotic and big a pomegranate can be while I was in India, I could not believe I could fall head over heel over a fruit! I just want to have it! This time not for luck or prosperity but for the red treasures hidden inside!

I fell in love with it instantly! I bought a few home and for the next few days and the next few weeks, I find myself patiently digging for the red rubies hidden under the thick skull!  Pomegranate seeds are so sweet, so juicy, so…. beautiful! Mm… mmmm…. It cannot believe a fruit can be so irresistable! And I found out later that they are packed with tons of health benefits to us too.

Pomegranate has been associated with a high nutritional value . One pomegranate has about half of the vitamin c necessary for an adult and it is packed full of antioxidants. Pomegranates are also attributed with improving heart health. No wonder it has becoming so popular around the world, not to mention the ruby red seeds inside have also inspire many artists, designers and photographers.
